With just a few hours left for Vijay to turn 49, fans of the star have been eagerly waiting for an update from Leo. There has been speculation that the first look of the project would be unveiled at 6 pm today. In recent years, Bigil, Master, Beast and Mersal had their first appearances revealed at 6 pm, on June 21.

However, director Lokesh Kanagaraj came up with a surprise announcement. Though a few fans were slightly disappointed that the much-awaited first look poster of Leo was not released in the evening, most of them do not mind waiting for some more time to get a glimpse of their favourite star.

The Maanagaram filmmaker said that the poster will be out after a few hours, 12 am to be precise. This has left the social media buzzing as expected. Fans have already started guessing how the first look of the star would be.

It is heard that the makers will be unveiling more than one poster tomorrow. Vijay's previous releases like Varisu and Beast had more than one poster revealed on his birthday. There are reports that a glimpse video from Leo will also be out.

The movie's distribution in major territories has been signed and is set for a huge release on October 19 in four languages. The UK-Europe distributor of Leo had announced the other day that they are ensuring the biggest release possible for a south Indian project.

The film is expected to take a gargantuan opening, especially in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and overseas. It is likely to end up as the highest grosser of Vijay irrespective of its result, thanks to the massive hype it has been carrying ever since its announcement.
