The trailer of Leo which was released yesterday created several YouTube records including the most liked promo and most viewed promo for any South Indian film in 24 hours. It looks like the trailer has met the expectations of fans though others have different opinions.

The makers are said to be planning a pre-release event in Dubai after a few days. An announcement on the same is awaited. With less than two weeks away for the project's release, fans are wondering if the team will come up with any surprises.

Leo earns THIS much from overseas locations

The advance booking of the film has been phenomenal, especially in locations like the UK, US, Gulf and Canada. The distributor in the UK has been regularly updating the ticket sales in the country. They informed earlier today that around 45,000 tickets were sold and that the number is likely to breach 50,000 before the release on October 19.

According to sources, the film has earned around 15 crores from advance booking from several territories in overseas markets. The movie is expected to take a humongous opening across the world.

All eyes on advance booking in Tamil Nadu

The ticket booking in Tamil Nadu is likely to begin on October 14. The exhibitors are yet to have clarity on what time the first shows could be screened in the state. The makers are hopeful that the state government would grand permission to allow screening from 4 am in the state.

Leo will take the biggest opening ever for a Tamil film if that happens, and the numbers are expected to be more than 35 crores from the state on first day if the early morning shows happen.
