Liger actor Ananya Panday on being trolled on social media: Sometimes it really affects me

Ananya Panday is currently keeping busy with promoting her upcoming film Liger. The diva shares the screen with Vijay Deverakonda in sports drama, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ananya recently opened up about she gets affected by some of the incessant trolling she receives on social media.

In conversation with ETimes the actress said, "I don’t think the feeling of being trolled constantly will ever get resolved inside me. There are days when something really affects me. I feel really bad when I read negative stuff about me. But there are moments when I get over it and feel strong. I feel I can deal with it. I think I am just trying to focus more on improving myself as an actor and giving people a chance to doubt me."

Ananya's father Chunky Pandey openly talked about the hate his daughter encounters on social media. He had previously revealed to the entertainment portal that “Initially it was very upsetting and disturbing for all of us. But then I said, listen, girl, this is an app. It's not a human being. Why are you having so many emotions? I mean, I know it's a lot of people on it, but in the end, you can delete it anytime, you can go back to it anytime."

Chunky continued by stating that trolls might be upsetting for a parent or an individual to read all these stuff, however "but they say it is nothing personal, only business." Additionally, he stated that trolling would never end and would continue indefinitely.

Meanwhile, Puri Connects and Dharma Productions are the producers of Liger, which also stars Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan in significant roles. In the film, the renowned boxer Mike Tyson has a lengthy cameo appearance. Vijay will make his Hindi cinema debut with Liger. The movie is scheduled to premiere on August 25.
