Lingusamy goes gaga over Dhruva Natchathiram, compares it with Kaakha Kaakha and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu

Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram has been hitting the headlines frequently in recent times owing to news pertaining to its release date. The much-delayed project is said to be released later this year. The director himself revealed a while ago that plans are on to release the movie soon.

Its first promo was unveiled in 2017, leaving film buffs thrilled. However, there was no news on the project for a few years. The makers came up with a song in 2020, leaving many intrigued. But the happiness of moviegoers was short-lived.

Lingusamy is all praise for the film

Director Lingusamy, who happened to watch a few songs and crucial sequences of the action drama, has taken to his Twitter page to heap praise on the Vikram-starrer. He has said that Gautham and musician Harris Jayaraj will be unleashing the magic we expect from the duo.

The Sandakozhi director also compared it with Gautham's Kaakha Kaakha and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and hoped that it would create the same impact on everyone when it hits the screen. The unexpected post has left fans of Vikram overwhelmed. They are now curious to know about the next update makers are coming up with.

Gautham has his hands full

Gautham, who last made Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu with Silambarasan, opened up about his plans to make a sequel to Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He said that the scripting is underway and that he is awaiting a nod from Kamal Haasan. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, too, ended with an introduction to its second part.

Meanwhile, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha, the action thriller he made with Varun a few years ago, too, is yet to see the light of day. Its trailer was released almost two years ago.
