Some highly awaited films like Dasvi and The King’s Man are gearing up to hit OTT this month

April has ushered in some popular film titles to look forward to this month. Releases in the first week span across languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English and more. Films like Ek Love Ya, Naradan, and Etharkkum Thunindhavan, who have been released in theatres already, are gearing up to hit OTT platforms, while Films like Dasvi will be direct-to-digital releases.

Dasvi: April 7 (Netflix)
Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam in lead roles, Dasvi follows the story of a politician who, after being arrested in a scam case, decides to finish his schooling and earn his high school diploma. Tushar Jalota has helmed the film.
Etharkkum Thunindhavan: April 7 (Netflix)
Starring Suriya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Vinay Rai, this Pandiraj directorial tells the story of a lawyer who goes head to head with a criminal who exploits women. The film will also be released on SunNXT.
Return to Space: April 7 (Netflix)
This documentary chronicles a revolutionary space mission that stretched across almost two decades, where Elon Musk's and SpaceX engineers worked to send NASA’s astronauts to the International Space Station.
Metal Lords: April 8 (Netflix)
This music drama follows the story of two high schoolers who are desperate to form a heavy metal band, and decide to rope in a cellist to join them. Jaeden Martell, Adrian Greensmith and Isis Hainsworth star.
The In Between: April 8 (Netflix)
Starring Joey King and Kyle Allen, the film follows the story of a young photographer, who tragically loses her boyfriend in an accident. But the woman soon realises that her boyfriend’s spirit is in limbo, unable to go into the afterlife.

Furioza: April 6 (Netflix)
A policewoman forces her old boyfriend to be a police informant and infiltrate a criminal gang, threatening to send the man’s brother to prison if he does not comply. Mateusz Banasiuk and Weronika Ksiazkiewicz star in this Polish film.
Michela Giraud: the Truth, I Swear!: April 6 (Netflix)
Watch Italian stand up comedienne Michela Giraud address the ups and downs her fame brought her, as well as some other personal anecdotes, in this stand up special.
Yaksha: Ruthless Operations: April 8 (Netflix)
This Korean spy film revolves around the story of a brutal, tough as nails black ops team leader who takes up one of the most dangerous missions of his career in a city almost as ruthless as he is. Sol Kyung-gu, Park Hae-soo and Yang Dong-keun star.
Debigarh e Garbar : April 2 (ZEE5)
This Bengali series follows the story of five college friends who reunite when one of their own finds themselves in trouble.
Ek Love Ya : April 8 (ZEE5)
Directed by Prem, this Kannada film follows the story of a young man who is imprisoned after he stands up for his girlfriend. But when he gets out, he realises that her feelings for him seem to have changed. Newcomers Raanna and Reeshma Nanaiah essay pivotal roles.
Naradhan : April 8 (Amazon Prime Video)
Directed by Aashiq Abu, the film follows the story of a skilled news anchor who is forced to re-evaluate his morals and principles to increase his show’s ratings. Tovino Thomas,Anna Ben and Sharafudheen star.
Taanakkaran : April 8 (Disney+ Hotstar)
This police drama starring Vikram Prabhu and Anjali Nair, focusses on the struggles police trainees have to undergo at their training camp, and a spunky trainee who questions the status quo.
The King's Man: April 8 (Disney+ Hotstar)
Witness the thrilling origin story of one of the suavest private detective organisations in the world- The King’s Man. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the third instalment in the Kingsman film series stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance.
Kakababur Protyaborton: April 8 (Hoichoi)
This Bengali adventure film is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s novel, Jongoler Modhye Ek Hote. The film Kakababu as he heads off to Kenya with his nephew for some much needed relaxation, although the universe has other plans in store.
Stand Up Rahul (Telugu): April 8 (aha video)
This romantic comedy follows the story of meek mannered Rahul, who rarely stands up for anything in his life. But when he falls in love with his old friend, she pushes him to come out of his shell.
Aaja Mexico Challiye: April 7 (Chaupal TV)
