Best web series to watch with your family

Gullak on SonyLIV

This one had to be the first one on our list given the kind of fan following this show has. The show revolves around the middle-class Mishra family dealing with parenthood, adulthood, responsibilities, and family bonds. The show comes with a compelling narrative and excellent performances. Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, the show features Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar.

Aspirants on Prime Video

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki of Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai fame, Aspirants is not particularly similar to Panchayat but this show will also lift your spirit in life. The show takes us to the lives of IAS Aspirants, who work towards their goals despite going through emotional and mental breakdowns. The show also focuses on friendship and hard work. The show stars Naveen Kasturia, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Sunny Hinduja in the lead roles.

Kota Factory on Netflix

Kota Factory, directed by Raghav Subbu chronicles the adventures of a student named Vaibhav and his friends. They face difficulties of living away from home and studying. The show focuses on the peer pressure that students go through while preparing for the tough entrance examinations in the most realistic way. The show stars Jitendra Kumar, Urvi Singh, Revathi Pillai, Mayur More, Ahsaas Channa, and Naveen Kasturia, among others.

Yeh Meri Family on Prime Video

Yeh Meri Family, directed by Sameer Saxena takes us to the beautiful family-friendly environment of the Gupta family. The show captivates audiences of all ages and is a realistic take on a middle class family and focuses on familial bonds. The show features a talented ensemble including Vishesh Bansal, Mona Singh, Akarsh Khurana, Ahan Nirban, Ruhi Khan, and Prasad Reddy, among others.

Saas, Bahu, Achaar Pvt Ltd on ZEE5

Saas, Bahu, Achaar Pvt Ltd is also directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and as the name suggests, the show is a fresh take on the cliched Saas-Bahu dynamic that we have been forced to watch on TV shows. The narrative of the show mainly focuses on Suman, a middle-aged woman who ventures her own pickle company to become independent and manage her duties as a wife, two kids, and her mother-in-law. The show features Yamini Das, Amruta Subhash, Manu Bisht, Shreyansh Kaurav, and Anandeshwar Dwivedi, among others.
