The actor plays Indira Gandhi, the former prime minister of India, in this drama based on the Indian Emergency. In supporting roles, the film also stars Vishak Nair, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik. The film is based on actual events that occurred in 1975. One of the most influential women in Indian history, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, is the subject of this biopic, which details events that occurred during her administration.
Hansal Mehta helms the criminal thriller The Buckingham Murders, which Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor produced.
