This slick action film has developed a cult following over the years, and Bilal's dialogue - 'Kochi pazhe Kochi alla...' is a fan-favourite. Fans have been waiting for the long-delayed sequel titled Bilal.

Mammootty stars as Shanmugham in this Ranjith film, which delves into the Kochi underworld. Notably, Black marks actor Rahman’s return to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus. Both Mammootty and Rahman had previously acted in several films during the 1980s. Lal is also a part of this action-packed film, which has cinematography by Amal Neerad.

Mammootty’s power-packed performance drives this riveting thriller, which blends action in a politically charged narrative. The film revolves around IAS official Joseph Alex, the district collector, who takes on the corrupt politicians. Murali, Vani Viswanath and Devan play other key roles in the film.

The film follows ‘Turbo’ Jose as he moves to Chennai from Idukki and comes across the brutal Vetrivel Shanmuga Sundaram. Mammootty as Jose once again aces the action scenes in this film, which also features Raj B Shetty in a pivotal role. Midhun Manuel Thomas has penned this film, which is directed by Vysakh.

ASP Derick Abraham sets out on a mission to find the truth after his brother is arrested for killing his lover.
