Lock Upp: Ekta Kapoor celebrates 5 years of AltBalaji with Kangana Ranaut and kaidis

Ekta Kapoor’s AltBalaji has completed five years of its existence today. To celebrate the same, she attended Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp on Judgement Day and met all the kaidis of the jail. Not just Ekta, her brother Tusshar Kapoor and Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal were some other names who graced Lock Upp.

Krystle D’Souza and Rohan Mehra also attended Judgement Day with Ekta, Tusshar and Divya. It is to be noted that Divya, Krystle and Rohan have worked with AltBalaji over the years. While Divya was seen in Cartel, Krystle worked in Fittrat and Rohan has been a part of Class of 2020 as well as Crashh.

Ekta had more than one reason to celebrate her show Lock Upp. The producer is one of the happiest since Kangana’s show is loved all across and has crossed 200 million views. Now, as per jailor Karan Kundrra’s information, this show is even closer to crossing 300 million views soon. If Ekta’s hint is to be taken into consideration, the show might have touched 300 million mark too.

Ekta has planned some fun activities for the kaidis in the house. While usually Kangana introduces those tasks, today, since there are so many special guests, they will be having fun with the inmates.

Lock Upp currently holds Munawar Faruqui, Saisha Shinde, Poonam Pandey, Payal Rohatgi, Azma Fallah and Ali Mercchant in Team Blue. Anjali Arora, Shivam Sharma, Kaaranvir Bohra, Mandana Karimi and Zeeshan Khan are in Team Orange.

It appears that Mandana, who had warned that she would leave the show, has actually made up her mind to quit Lock Upp. She was heard telling Anjali that she has no intention of staying on the show any longer.

Every kaidi except Poonam and Azma are nominated for evictions this week. This includes Munawar, Saisha, Payal, Ali, Anjali, Shivam, Kaaranvir, Mandana and Zeeshan.
