Lock Upp Exclusive! Didn’t know about make-believe relationships before MunJali, keep it real: Poonam Pandey

Lock Upp Grand Finale is here and with it, MunJali has come to an end. Munawar Faruqui and Anjali Arora did have one complicated relationship in Kangana Ranaut’s jail. Their equation left everyone inside the jail and outside it confused. Ex-kaidi Poonam Pandey was also left confused about the make-believe relationship.

The actress had previously stated that MunJali is actually a thing and Munawar is not giving Anjali any commitment even though she has confessed her feelings for him. However, it was eventually revealed that MunJali was a make-believe relationship. The most recent example was in the last day in the jail, when Munawar told Anjali that he did not want to cross a line with her.

While talking to OTTplay about her statement that Munawar and Anjali were actually a couple, Poonam said, “It was a make-believe relationship. It was a kaidi to another kaidi - trying to promote each other. I didn't know you can make fake relationships. Kangana asked Munawar not to make his own script. What happened towards the end? She mentioned that he has a girlfriend and she has a boyfriend. Think, what their actual partner would be thinking. Anjali even goes to the extent of saying I love you. That's a very big deal. It's not a joke. Ask me.”

Poonam then questioned why MunJali did not show their real side. She said, “We try to build relationships and take a lot because of that. We don't break relations because of that. Don't make fun of genuine relations. Let reality show be real. Show your own reality, no? Is it so bad that you don't want people to see it? That's the thing.”

Poonam was extremely hurt and upset with Munawar and Anjali. However, she was later seen planning and plotting with Anjali and Saisha Shinde. When we asked her what was going on between her and Anjali, Poonam shared, “If I'm in a show and I have to wake up and be around that person, I'm not the one who won't talk to them. You can do that for a day or two. You have to be the bigger person. I cannot fight with a person for something she did one week ago. So I'd rather be angry at that person. There was a cold war between both of us. It was exactly what I was doing. If I have to fight with her, I would. I didn't want to fight for 24 hours. I have fought more than my entire life in Lock Upp. My whole life's quota is over with that.”

When we tried asking her if she did not have fights because she lives alone and hasn’t faced people since long, Poonam refuted saying, “No, so I have lived with my family but I don't remember having a single fight with them. We have petty fights like pouring more or less dal. People would look at me and laugh because it's cute.”

Poonam was evicted from Lock Upp a week back. She is now back for the Badass finale and has shared the stage with Anjali, Saisha and even Payal Rohatgi.
