After calling out Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut also spoke about Alia Bhatt during the grand premiere of her show, Lock Upp. There, the actress was accused of using Alia’s name for attention. For the uninitiated, Kangana has been posting about Gangubai Kathiawadi on her Instagram account regularly.

Lock Upp contestant Payal Rohatgi accused Kangana of ‘piggybanking’ on Alia and her movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. That is when Kangana snapped and said that she is not doing that.

The actress asked Payal to not piggybank on her experiences even before the incident, when Payal recalled how Kangana and Ekta had differences but eventually are working together in Lock Upp. Kangana tried to provoke Payal to talk about her own experiences but that did not happen.

“I have given birth to a controversy which never existed before,” Kangana said about the topic. The host later went on to state that Payal simply proved her allegations right. For the uninitiated, Payal was accused on piggybanking on other people’s controversy.

In order to further irk Kangana, Payal happened to mention Gehraiyaan soon after. Replying to a journalist’s questions, she said that she rejected Gandi Baat at a time when she did not believe in the content. However, the actress added that now she is open to the idea of AltBalaji having Gandi Baat and trying to create something like Gehraiyaan. For the uninitiated, Kangana has bashed both the movies on social media and is still doing so.

Lock Upp has premiered on OTT from February 27. The show is now available on AltBalaji and MX Player. The viewers can catch it live 24x7 and watch the episodes at 10.30 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends.
