Lock Upp new contestant: Sara Khan’s ex-husband Ali Merchant is the new inmate; actor charged as 'publicity seeker'

Lock Upp unveiled its first wild card entrant Ali Merchant as the new contestant. The ex-husband of Sara Khan will be known as contestant no. 14 inside the game. The makers have released a short promo video to unveil the first look of the former actor.

The latest promo begins with two guards taking Ali to a dark room, where they unmask him. Then the actor turned DJ pose with his board where it was unveiled that he has been charged as the publicity seeker and that's why he is ending up in Kangana Ranaut's jail.

The homegrown OTT giant took the latest clip and shared it on Instagram with a caption that reads, "Sara Khan ka past bann raha hai uska present. #LockUpp mein jaa rahe hai Ali Merchant! Don't miss the live stream of the Judgement Day episode at 10:30pm tonight. (sic)."

Meanwhile, the post was also shared on the official IG handle of Ali with a quirky caption that says, Khoob jamega rang jab main pehnunga kaidiyon ke rang! Don’t miss my dhamakedaar entry and the contestants’ reactions tonight (sic)," a part of the caption reads.
