Lock Upp: Poonam Pandey and Anushka Sen to participate in Kangana Ranaut hosted reality show?

After Khatron Ke Khiladi, Anushka Sen is set to be a part of another reality show. Yes, as per the latest reports, the actor will be one of the participants in the Kangana Ranaut-hosted upcoming reality show titled Lock Upp. The show was announced a week ago at an event held in Mumbai, and now, several celebrity names are popping up as the inmates of the series. 

Speaking about the same, a source told News18 that Anushka Sen is one of the first competitors whose participation in the competition has been confirmed. She is one of the 16 participants who will compete in the reality show.

Earlier, Bollywood Hungama revealed that Poonam Pandey is also among the contestants in Lock Upp. A source told the entertainment portal that she is the first of the 16 contestants who will be imprisoned for several months. This is Pandey's first reality show in a long time. 

The source also said that she is known for her adult films and has attracted attention with her bold looks and fiery demeanor. She appears to be an ideal fit for the upcoming event, which will be bold and violent in many respects.

Meanwhile, during the press event, Ekta Kapoor, the creator of the show, gave a glimpse into the format of Lock Upp. The czarina of television said that celebrities haven't heard the term FIR, or legal fees, in the last two years. So, here's a show where people are imprisoned with the concept of bail in mind. 

Kapoor shared that although we are living in India, we have forgotten Bharat. Thus, international formats aren't required, and why should one take inspiration from them?

Meanwhile, the shoot of the reality show has yet to be kicked off and it will stream on ALTBalaji and MX Player simultaneously.
