The trailer of Love Marriage, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Vikram Prabhu in the lead role, has been released by the makers on social media on Thursday. The film, which is touted to be a family entertainer, will hit the big screens on June 27.
We had earlier reported that Vikram Prabhu, seen in films like Ponniyin Selvan and Tanakkaaran, will be headlining the Tamil film Love Marriage. The film will release on June 27, and ahead of this, the makers unveiled the trailer.
The trailer begins with a groom making his yet another visit to look for a bride. He is shown to be a man past his prime and having passed his so-called marriageable age. But when he finally gets a bride, he is on top of the world. We see the couple engaging in pre-nuptial customs, as something seems to have gone wrong. The trailer promises a fun take on family drama, which is supposed to deal with men facing struggles during late marriages.
The cast of Love Marriage features Sushmitha Bhat playing the female lead, apart from other known faces including Meenakshi Dinesh, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Gajaraj, Muruganantham, and Kodangi Vadivelu, among others. Veteran actor Sathyaraj plays a special cameo in the film.
Director Shanmuga Priyan had earlier worked as an associate director for filmmaker Anand Shankar on the films NOTA and Enemy, and as a co-director in Nitham Oru Vaanam, will be making his directorial debut with Love Marriage.
The technical crew consists of music composer Sean Roldan, who scored for Tourist Family, and composed music for this film. Madhan Christopher is handling cinematography. Bharath Vikraman is overseeing editing works, and M. Murali is taking care of production design. Love Marriage will hit theatres on June 27. It will release along with Vijay Antony’s Maargan.
