Lovely OTT release update
The movie, which made its big screen debut on May 16, did not have a successful run in theatres. However, it is expected to garner more praise following its OTT release. Lovely began streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 12 am on June 20.
Recently, Malayalam films like Vadakkan, Madhura Manohara Moham and more became accessible on the same online platform. Apart from this film, Malayalam web series Kerala Crimes Files 2 and Dileep-starrer Prince and Family are also now available to watch on various OTT platforms.

Lovely's plot and cast details
Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Manoj K Jayan, Aswathy Manoharan, and Prasanth Murali play pivotal roles in this film, which is directed Dileesh Karunakaran. The director himself has penned the screenplay for this fantasy drama.
Bony, the main character of Lovely, intends to move to Canada in search of a better life. However, he is forced to take a job in the government sector, after his father died while carrying out his duty. After reportedly disparaging the modesty of a woman during the first week of his joining, Bony is placed under 14 days of imprisonment in jail. Bony makes friends with "Lovely," a talking fly, while he is incarcerated in the sub-jail, and he continues to insist on staying with her even after being released. The main focus of the movie is their bond, which clearly no one else in his life can relate to.
Dileesh's attempts to give the fantasy elements their best chance are a compelling aspect of Lovely, as per the review by OTTplay. Both the 'talking fly' and Bony's vivid dreams are presented in a charming and captivating manner. The film, which is lacking in every other aspect, is enhanced by the musical score composed by Vishnu Vijay and Bijibal.
