The plot revolves around a group of lawyers and their peculiar clients who present the cases with their absurd wit in this unseen perspective of advocacy. Created by Posham Pa Pictures, Sameer Saxena serves as the showrunner and executive producer for Maamla Legal Hai. The series is penned by Kunal Aneja and Saurabh Khanna.

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan leads the star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Nidhi Bisht, Anand V Joshi, and others. Ravi Kishan plays a lawyer named VD Tyagi who aspires to become the Attorney General, while Naila Grewal plays Ananya Shroff, who returns after her LLM from Harward to pursue a career as a legal aid.

Nidhi Bisht is Sujata Negi, who is waiting to get a case but dreams of owning an a/c chamber. Another hilarious character is played by Anant V Joshi, who plays Vishwas Pandey, who is trying to be like Donna Paulson of Suits.
