Netflix is on an announcement spree as they are paving the way for the hilarious courtroom comedy series titled Maamla Legal Hai. March 1 marks the premiere of the upcoming series that promises to have viewers on the edge of their seats. The OTT giant stated that the series should be a must-watch for anyone looking for a lighthearted series with a lovely mix of heart, legalese, and humour. Maamla Legal Hai follows a group of quirky lawyers as they take on strange cases for strange clients in the made-up Patparganj District Court. Posham Pa Pictures produces the series, with Sameer Saxena serving as the showrunner. Kunal Aneja and Saurabh Khanna write the series, while Rahul Pandey directs it.

A lighthearted take on legal shenanigans

In the series, Ravi Kishan takes the lead as VD Tyagi, the energetic Patparganj Bar Association president who aspires to become India's Attorney General. VD Tyagi and his dynamic team of lawyers, including Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, Anjum Batra, and Vijay Rajoria, earn the title of "legal eagles" due to their talent for jugaad. The unique characters in Maamla Legal Hai will give viewers a taste of the fascinating cases that the firm takes on. They outwit their rivals and inject each case with fun and surprising turns as a team.
