The Spider-Man spin-off stars Sydney Sweeney as Spider-Woman Julia Carpenter and Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, aka Madame Web. They won't be the only Spideys in town, either, as the first trailer suggests.

With the help of her psychic skills, Madame Web is able to look into the future and save the lives of three other Spider-Mans. This will probably result in a team-up movie, as the trailer showcases, as they battle the villain Ezekiel Sims.

The cast of the film also includes Isabela Merced,  Adam Scott, Celeste O’Connor, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Tahar Rahim, and Zosia Mamet.

Following the huge success of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, from Sony Pictures Animation, it's evident that there is a great need for anything that has the ability to wall crawl and web swing. The most recent installment in the live-action Spider-Man world is Madame Web, which comes after the release of Venom Tom Hardy (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), starring Tom Hardy, and Morbius, led by Jared Leto (2022).

The feature film by S. J. Clarkson is scheduled to open in theatres on February 14, 2024, coinciding with Valentine's Day.

Clarkson directed the film, and Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama wrote the screenplay. Adam Merims is the executive producer, while Lorenzo di Bonaventura is the producer. Madame Web will be released in theatres on February 14, 2024.
