Shocking: Nana Patekar hits a fan requesting a selfie; video creates a stir online

Nana Patekar is currently in Varanasi for the shoot of his new film. During the shoot, a fan attempted to take a photo with him. Shockingly, the veteran actor hit the fan on the head when he attempted to take a picture with him. A video has gone viral that shows a fan approaching Nana for a selfie, only to get smacked in the head and hauled off.

The actor is seen in the brief video, which has been posted on X, Instagram, and Reddit, on set amid a throng of people. A man comes up to him, holding out a phone. When Nana Patekar sees him coming, she doesn't hesitate and hits him in the head with noticeable force. As the man staggers forward, another man—possibly a security officer—grabs him. The second man pulls the fan out of the frame and away from the actor by grabbing him by the neck.

Nana Patekar was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri's film The Vaccine War. The film tanked at the box office. The film is a medical docudrama directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Pallavi Joshi. The film stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Raima Sen, Mohan Kapur, Sapthami Gowda, Girija Oak, Richard Bhakti Klein, Divya Seth Shah, Suhita Thatte, Gopal Singh, and Arjun Kachroo.

Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar's controversy

For the uninitiated, the veteran actor's career took a complete turn after Tanushree Dutta accused him of sexual misconduct. He was the subject of a formal complaint in 2018, but the inquiry was closed a year later after the Oshiwara police raised the possibility that the complaints were intended to be spiteful.
