Madhur Bhandarkar, Amit Agarwal offer Puja at Dakshineswar Temple

Director-producer Madhur Bhandarkar came to Kolkata for personal work on Saturday. He went to Dakshineswar Kali temple from the airport and offer Puja. Amit Agarwal, producer of the film MD Dhoni: The Untold Story, was with him. 

Both of them offered puja at the temple. The director said, “We took a trip to the temple and offered our Puja. We enjoyed the fine morning.' 

Are the director-producer duo planning for a new film or series? Is that why they came to Kolkata? Prosenjit Chatterjee was seen at the Siddhi Vinayak temple of Mumbai with Madhur Bhandarkar last month. Madhur and Amit may be planning a project with Bumbada. However, none of them said anything and no information came. 

However, Madhur and Amit had a meeting after coming back from Dakshineswar. Then they flew back to Mumbai. They were seen having breakfast in a restaurant in Cheenar Park. The menu consisted of malai toast, Kolkata-special club kachori, and tea. 

Madhur made a film, Babli Bouncer, in 2022 with Tamannah Bhatia. He also produced the film Circuit, released in April.
