The actor, who’s currently working on Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram, is celebrating his 48th birthday with his family as part of a European holiday.
Commemorating his birthday, one of his biggest hits, Businessman, directed by Puri Jagannadh, where he co-starred Kajal Aggarawal, is re-releasing across screens globally. The re-released version is expected to open big and the advance booking stars are nothing short of spectacular. The star, besides the love for the film, will be receiving another gift from his fans today.
In their one-of-a-kind gesture, fans of Mahesh Babu have christened a star after his name. The coordinates of the star are officially registered in a certificate and the gesture has left many film buffs in awe already. “ The star with the coordinates RA: 12h 33m 29s DEC: +69 degrees, 47’ 17.6’’ was successfully entered into the star-naming registry. Superstar Mahesh Babu - The Most Loved Star in the Galaxy,” the text in the certificate reads.
The star has consistently reinvented himself with his performances - be it Murari, 1 Nenokkadine, Okkadu, Bharath Ane Nenu, Arjun and others to name a few - and his versatility as an artiste continues to win him more fans with every project. After Guntur Kaaram, the star will next move onto SSMB29, a pan Indian film to be directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by KL Narayana under Sri Durga Arts.
The star also turned a producer for Adivi Sesh’s magnum opus Major and has vouched to back Mem Famous actor-director Sumanth Prabhas’ next as well. He forayed as a lead actor in Telugu cinema with C Aswani Dutt’s production Rajakumarudu, directed by K Raghavendra Rao.
