Maja Ma release date: When and where to watch Madhuri Dixit starring family drama on OTT

After making her OTT debut with the Netflix series, The Fame Game, Madhuri Dixit is set to be seen in the direct-to-digital release film, Maja Ma. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 6, 2022. The family drama has an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit, Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Srishti Shrivastava, and Barkha Singh in lead roles.

Set against the backdrop of Navratri celebrations in a Gujarati household, Maja Ma is set for a festive release; thus, it's coming around Dussehra 2022 on the leading OTT platform.

Earlier, while talking about the whole shooting experience, Madhuri had said in a statement that there are so many memories of the enjoyable days they spent working on the film and through all the masti behind the scenes. On this particular occasion, Gajraj's delivery of the line made it impossible for the actor to maintain composure. Even though it was a solemn scene, Gajraj cracked them up with some of his trademark funny lines. Madhuri also said that it is quite difficult to maintain one's composure while filming with him. She began mentally humming melancholy songs out of fear that she might start laughing, which helped her maintain a straight face throughout the moment and prevent anyone else from ruining it.

Madhuri continued, saying that they loved dancing, practicing, and playing games with each other during the gaps in between shoots. On one occasion, Gajraj, Ritwik, Srishti, and Barkha were all playing silly charades when she finished her scenes early. The actor joined them with the intention of playing a few rounds before leaving for home. But she got distracted and ended up playing several rounds. Although her teammates were reminding her that it was becoming late, Madhuri was having too much fun to leave the game in the middle.
