Major: Adivi Sesh's biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan to release on February 11, 2022

Adivi Sesh has invested his heart, soul, sweat and blood into his upcoming film, Major, that chronicles the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, whose heroics during the Mumbai 26/11 blasts remain etched in the memories of the country's citizens. The actor not only headlines the Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu trilingual, but has also contributed to the story and the screenplay of the film. Major, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies, will hit theatres on February 11, 2022, the makers announced on Wednesday.

The team released a sneak peek into the making of Major, along with the release date announcement, where we see Adivi Sesh and Sashi Kiran Tikka engaging in intense discussions with the cast of the film, namely Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Sai Manjrekar. 

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's lines, 'Don't let anybody come in, I'll handle them', are used in the beginning of this impactful glimpse that shows the effort that has gone behind the project. Major has completed its filming and has been shot over a 120 day span across eight sets and 75 locations. Abburi Ravi has assisted Adivi Sesh with the script besides penning the Telugu dialogues while Vamsi Patchipulusu, who recently worked on Varudu Kaavalenu, is the cinematographer. Sri Charan Pakala has scored the music for the film jointly edited by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
