Major Kanguva update is here - Actor Suriya begins dubbing for Siva's directorial; check photos

Kanguva is one of the much-anticipated films from the Tamil film industry with scores of fans awaiting eagerly for each update about the film. On that note, on Wednesday, the makers of Kanguva released a new update about the film and revealed that the film has entered the post-production phase.

The makers said that the dubbing for Kanguva has begun dubbing for Kanguva has begun and released the behind-the-scenes stills from the dubbing studio, with actor Suriya working on his portions. Kanguva is directed by filmmaker Siva, also known as Siruthai Siva.

Suriya begins dubbing for Kanguva

“His presence set our screens on fire, and now his voice will rule us all Dubbing begins for our Kanguva at the newly commenced, world class post-production studio Aadnah Arts Studios,” Studio Green production banner which is bankrolling the film.

Kanguva is directed by Siruthai Siva. It is to be noted that Kanguva will mark Siva and Suriya’s most ambitious project till date. It is also expected that the film will be Suriya's most expensive production to date, raising the stakes for this cinematic spectacle. According to producers, Suriya will showcase two distinct looks in the movie, with the narrative unfolding in two different timelines . One will feature an ultra-sleek modern avatar, while the other will see Suriya embodying the appearance, attire, and spirit of a warlord from prehistoric times.

All about Kanguva

Kanguva, which means a man with fire power, is a pan-Indian project that will be released in 10 languages. Keeping the pan-Indian label in mind, the film will also boast a star cast, including Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. K E Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati are producing the film under the banner of Studio Green and UV Creations.

Kanguva was initially scheduled to be released in theatres in April 2024. However, the makers have clarified that the film's release has been pushed to the second half of 2024 since the post-production work may take more time than they had earlier anticipated. There have also been hints that the new release date of the film will be revealed soon.
