The shoot for Mammooty’s Bheeshma Parvam, helmed by Amal Neerad has wrapped. The update was shared via Instagram by the movie’s co-writer Devadath Shaji.
“Penning a script for an Amal Neerad-Mammootty movie is a lifetime opportunity I believe (sic),” he wrote. He also expressed his gratitude towards everyone in the team.
Bheeshma Parvam is Mammootty’s second collaboration with the director after 2007’s Big B. The Malayalam language project is reportedly a gangster story.
The first look poster was released by Dulquer Salmaan in February this year, which featured an imposing Mammootty with overgrown hair and his signature handlebar moustache.
Sudev Nair, Lena, Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko, Soubin Shahir, Srinda and Lena star in pivotal roles. Telugu actress Anasuya Bharadwaj will make her Malayalam movie debut with Bheeshma Parvam.
Co-written and directed by Amal Neerad, Anend C Chandran will handle the cinematography for the movie. Bheeshma Parvam has music by Sushin Shyam, who has collaborated with the director on his last two ventures.

Mammootty has been around the Malayalam movie industry for decades now, and has always kept the audiences engaged and excited. Even at the young age of 70, the legendary actor is doing just that. His other upcoming movie is Puzhu with Parvathy.
