Manjummel Boys has turned out to be a smash hit in Malayalam, grossing just over Rs 160 crore at the box office. Ahead of its OTT release, the survival thriller is being dubbed in Telugu and Hindi and we, at OTTplay, have already reported the same. Well, Manjummel Boys' Telugu version was supposed to hit the screens on March 15, 2024, and there was a decent hype for this film.

But we have come to know that the release date has been postponed. As per the latest update, Manjummel Boys will hit the screens on March 29, 2024, in Telugu states. The update is that the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, will release Manjummel Boys in Telugu states and as they have planned some extensive promotions, they have chosen March 29, 2024, as the release date.
On the other hand, the dubbing formalities for the Telugu version of Manjummel Boys are happening at a brisk pace. In the days to come, a few promotional events have also been planned to popularise the survival thriller among the Telugu audience. The team of Manjummel Boys will also be in Hyderabad to promote their film.
Directed by Chidambaram, Manjummel Boys is the story of a young man who falls into a pit in the Guna Caves located in Kodaikanal. As the genre is universal, Manjummel Boys is also expected to do well in Telugu states. Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S Poduval, and Lal Jr play key roles.
Premalu beats Gaami and Bhimaa at the box office
Yet another Malayalam film, Premalu, was released on March 8, 2024, and has ended as a smash hit. The collections for the film are growing with each passing day. With the exam season getting over this week, the collections in the Telugu states will surely double. SS Karthikeya, son of ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, has released Premalu in Telugu states and Premalu has crossed the collections of Bhimaa and Gaami, which also released on March 8, 2024.
