Manoj Bajpayee, the National Award-winning actor, says the cast and crew of his online series The Family Man are waiting for Amazon Prime Video to announce the release date of the highly anticipated third season, much like the fans.
The actor stated to Mid Day that Amazon's suspense is killing The Family Man team because they don't have an answer yet. Viewers devoured the second season of The Family Man, which premiered in June. The first season, which premiered on the OTT platform in late 2019, was similarly well-received.
The second season also featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sunny Hinduja, Darshan Kumaar, Dalip Tahil, Vipin Kumar A Sharma, Seema Biswas, Asif Sattar Basra, Shahab Ali, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Mime Gopi, N Alagamperumal, Anandsami, Abhay Verma, and others.
In the second season, Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee) has left TASC to work in the private sector so that he can spend more time with his family. He is forced to return home by a powerful new foe. Srikant is now tasked with uncovering and thwarting a dangerous alliance between an old foe and a dormant group of foreign insurgents. However, the threat is much closer to home.
Meanwhile, Gulmohar, Kanu Behl's Dispatch, Joram with his Bhosle director Devashish Makhija, Pahaadon Mein, and Soup, a Netflix series, are among Bajpayee's next projects. He previously collaborated with filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey on Ray and Sonchiriya.
Right now, the actor is filming for Gulmohar, and he just wrapped Dispatch. In May, he will begin filming for Joram. Then there's the Raam Reddy film, Pahaadon Mein, which he recently finished. There's also the Netflix series Soup, starring Abhishek Chaubey. The actor remarked that next year would be really busy. People will either be entertained or bored with him.
