Unni Mukundan’s Marco stunned people with bloody violence and relentless action sequences. After a successful run at the theatres, Malayalam’s most violent action thriller will be released on Sony Liv on February 14, 2025. With slick and intense action sequences, Marco narrates a revenge tale as the lead character seeks to avenge the murder of a loved one. Fans of brutal actioners should definitely watch this movie on Sony Liv, where it will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.

After impressing audiences with Rekhachithram, Anaswara Rajan is back with a quirky tale in Painkili. Sajin Gopu of Aavesham-fame also plays a lead role in Painkili. The film is touted to be a romantic comedy, but the trailer released earlier gave us a bunch of quirky characters. Now, it remains to be seen what debutant director Sreejith Babu plans to offer us. With Jithu Madhavan, the Aavesham director, on board as a writer, the film is sure to spring a surprise or two.

Daveed

Antony Varghese or our Pepe returns to the action genre with Govind Vishnu’s film. The movie also stars Mo Ismail, along with Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, and Saiju Kurup. The film is set to revolve around a man named Ashiq Abu, who enters the boxing ring and has to face a champion. The teaser hinted that a David vs Goliath tale is on the cards, but what more will the makers pack in?

Bromance

Bromance promises some light-hearted fun this Valentine’s Weekend with a tale of brotherhood and friendship. Mahima Nambiar joins the boys' gang of Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, Shyam Mohan, and Sangeeth Prathap in this film, directed by Arun D Jose. The trailer hinted at a chaotic comedy, and with Shyam Mohan and Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame part of the film, we pin our hopes on a fun ride with Bromance.
