Mark Antony has been hitting the headlines for various reasons for the last few weeks. The movie opened to a positive response and has become the highest-grosser in Vishal's career. The film helmed by Adhik Ravichandran garnered appreciation for its wacky presentation and entertaining screenplay.

The performances of Vishal and SJ Suryah stood out in the movie while GV Prakash's background score garnered a thumbs up from the audience. The film is dropping on Amazon Prime after a few weeks.

Adhik Ravichandran is excited as Rajinikanth appreciates the film

The director of the movie is elated as none other than Rajinikanth has showered praise on the film. He himself has announced the same from his Twitter page, leaving fans thrilled. He also posted a pic along with the Jailer star and is seen overwhelmed while posing for the photo.

He tweeted, "Blessed to have met @rajinikanth sir today and received many good words of encouragement & appreciation (sic)." Adhik tagged Vishal, SJ Suryah, GV Prakash and producer Vinod Kumar in his tweet. Fans of Rajinikanth started heaping praise on their matinee idol for always appreciating talented filmmakers.

On the way to join the coveted 100 crores club

The movie is said to be joining the 100-crore club soon. Its Hindi version was released a couple of days ago. The movie was in the news when Vishal accused CBFC members in Mumbai a few days ago for asking him to pay a sum of 6.5 lakh for certifying the Hindi version.

The I&B Ministry initiated an inquiry into the matter and the actor thanked the former in return for the swift action. He also expressed his gratitude towards the Prime Minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister.
