Mark Antony: The team of Vishal-starrer ambitious action drama is overwhelmed for THIS reason

Mark Antony is one film which evoked curiousity among film buffs ever since it was announced. Adhik Ravichandran's project was projected as a pan Indian film and fans of Vishal were delighted about the makers' plans. The first look of the movie which was unveiled a few months ago left cinephiles intrigued as well.

The last time the project hit the headlines was when Vishal and SJ Suryah, who plays a crucial role in it, escaped from an accident unhurt when a truck lost control and headed in the wrong direction. 

It's been a while since makers have come up with an update on Mark Antony. The team has now announced that the project is completed except for one day's shoot. A picture clicked inside a caravan has also been posted by them on social media.

Vishal, producer Vinod, director Adhik and dance choreographer Baba Baskar among others are seen in the photo. The film is expected to hit the screens this year. An announcement on the same is likely to happen soon. Selvaraghavan and Sunil are other actors who will be seen essaying key roles in the movie which has Ritu Varma playing the female lead.

GV Prakash is composing music while Abinandhan Ramanujam is cranking the camera. Mark Antony will be Vishal's first release in 2023. The actor-producer had two outings last year - Veeramae Vaagai Soodum and Laththi - which opened to mixed response from critics and audience.

He is expected to begin the works on his directorial debut Thupparivalan 2 after completing Mark Antony. It was announced earlier that he will go on location scouting earlier this year.
