Ever since Charlie Cox made that brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Matt Murdock , everyone was sure Marvel bosses have a very glorious future planned for our Daredevil. Later, we heard he is getting a standalone show titled Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+. But most recently, the studio decided to not just bring a significant change in the show but also change the director of the show. Turns out the studio has made history with that.
For the unversed, Daredevil: Born Again was to be directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, Clark Johnson, and David Boyd, when it was first announced. Cox was hired to reprise the exciting superhero against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. But it turns out that the show is in a chaotic position as we speak, and there is some major shuffle happening behind the scenes.
As per a Direct report, while the team waits to bounce back on the sets of Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel has fired the writing team, and the show is going to face a huge overhaul. The studio has now hired director duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead to direct the remaining part of the show and then shape it on the edit table.

But while this looks like another wild update from the Marvel realm, it is a milestone decision if you dig the surface. Both Benson and Moorhead have become the only directors in the history of Marvel characters that to have directed three separate seasons of Television for the studio. The two have first worked on Moon Knight under Mohammed Diab and then on Loki Season 2 . Daredevil: Born Again Marks their third stint with the studio.
The only filmmaker who stands below them in the list is Bryan Andrews, who has directed two seasons of What If...?. Meanwhile, Daredevil Reboot is one of the most anticipated shows across the globe. We saw a bit of Matt in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and fans have been wanting to see more since then. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more.
