Medhavi: THIS leading production house takes over Pa Vijay's film starring Jiiva, Arjun and Raashi Khanna

Popular lyricist Pa Vijay, who made his directorial debut with Strawberry in 2015, went on to make his second project as a filmmaker with Aaruthra in 2018. Both the movies had him playing the lead role in them. He surprised one and all when he announced his third attempt which doesn't have him donning the greasepaint.

Ttiled Medhavi, Jiiva was roped in to headline the movie which was billed as a thriller. Raashi Khanna and Arjun were others who were brought on board to essay crucial characters. The film went on floors in 2020 after the first wave of COVID-19.

A few pictures of the movie's launch were out on social media then. However, the project faced a few issues after a lion's share of its shooting was completed. Vels Film International has now announced that they have taken up the project and are planning to release it on a huge scale.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is the composer for the movie while Deepak Kumar Padhy has cranked the camera. Radharavi, YG Mahendran, Rohini, Azhagam Perumal and Sha Ra have played crucial characters in the project.

Kollywood film lovers are now looking forward to the release announcement of Medhavi. Jiiva's rom-com Golmaal, which was predominantly shot in Mauritius, is likely to hit the screens this year. His fans are eager to know if the actor would have two outings in 2023.

The film marks the first collaboration between Jiiva, Raashi and Arjun. Interestingly, he had dubbed for Shahid Kapoor in the Tamil version of Amazon Prime Video's Farzi which had Raashi essaying a key role. Meanwhile, the actress, who had two releases in Tamil last year, is expected to be part of Sundar C's Aranmanai 4.
