Chiranjeevi is the happiest best he could've ever been in his life - both as a family man and as an actor. He was a proud father the previous weekend as the entire world was ravishing praise on his son Ram Charan's performance in SS Rajamouli. On the work front too, he is busy as he can get. While the star's actioner Acharya awaits release this April 29, he is simultaneously working on Godfather, his film with Bobby and Bholaa Shankar simutlaneously. Godfather's filming is nearing completion too.
After wrapping up a recent schedule of Godfather in Mumbai with Salman Khan, Chiranjeevi is investing all his energy for Mega 154 a.k.a Chiru 154, the tentative title for his next with filmmaker Bobby. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are bankrolling the film under Mythri Movie Makers. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead. A new schedule of the much-awaited film had commenced recently at Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad.
The latest schedule of Mega154 will have the team shooting for a high-voltage action episode featuring Chiranjeevi and fighters. Action choreographers Ram-Lakshman have designed the action sequence, which promises to be a spectacle for the star's fans and audiences alike. Shruti Haasan too is expected to join the team in this current schedule in Hyderabad. The mass entertainer is Chiranjeevi's first collaboration with both Shruti Haasan and Bobby.
In earlier interview, the producers claimed that the film will be an out-and-out entertainer, on the lines of Chiranjeevi's 90s films in the zone of Gangleader, Gharana Mogudu. GK Mohan is the co-producer of the film whose technical team includes cinematographer Arthur A Wilson, editor Niranjan Devaramane and AS Prakash (as the production designer). Bobby has penned the story, dialogues himself for the project which has screnplay by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy.
