Merry Christmas: Katrina Kaif teams up with Vijay Sethupathi for Sriram Raghavan’s next

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi are coming together to work together in Sriram Raghavan’s next which is titled Merry Christmas.

The news was shared by Kaif through social media. Sharing a photo with Raghavan, Sethupathi and producer Ramesh Taurani, the actor wrote, “New Beginnings. BACK ON SET with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas!”.

She also wrote that she has always wanted to work with the director and that he is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it's an honour to be directed by him. The Fitoor actress also added that she is excited to team up with Sethupathi.

Kaif was recently spotted in the movie sets for the first time since her marriage. After photos with the director were out, there were speculations about a potential team-up.

Raghavan, who made his directorial debut with Ek Hasina Thi in 2004, has also helmed movies such as Agent Vinod, Badlapur and Andhadhun. The director has seen a growth in his fanbase as a result of the success of his last two ventures.

Kaif, on the other hand, was last seen in Akshay Kumar’s post-pandemic release Sooryavanshi, which became a commercial success. The actor is also working on Jee Le Zara co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.

Vijay Sethipathi who was already seen in eight movies in 2021, has a long list of movies in his kitty. The star will also be seen in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vikram and Mumbaikar.
