Metro...In Dino: Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan to star in Anurag Basu's anthology

In the movie Metro In Dino, Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur will work together for the first time. Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh are among the outstanding star cast. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu and is directed by Anurag Basu with music by Pritam. It will present heartbreaking stories of human connections that are based on the current times. In this contemporary drama, audiences will not only experience a brand-new plot but also see a brand-new pairing of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan.

Talking about the project, Director Anurag Basu said, "Metro...इन दिनों is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me." The director also revealed that the plot is quite new and contemporary, and he looks forward to working with incredible artists that will bring that contemporary vibe with them. Since music is a crucial component of every movie, he is overjoyed to be working with his close buddy Pritam, whose music has actually given the characters and plot new life.
