Milind Soman reacts to FIR against Ranveer Singh’s n*de photoshoot, recalls ‘nothing has changed’

Ranveer Singh’s n*de photoshoot might have stirred chaos but this is not new. Another Bollywood actor Milind Soman did it many years ago. While many find him sexy today, the actor battled a case for 14 long years.

Now, as an FIR is filed against Ranveer, Milind Soman recalls his own experience. He is confident about one thing – nothing has changed.

Milind has never shied away from flaunting his body, even at this age. It was his 1995 photoshoot with his then-girlfriend Madhu Sapre that caused them trouble. The two had to fight a legal case for 14 long years (till 2009).

When it comes to Ranveer’s photoshoot, Milind explained that not everybody can like everything and thus, they would have objected. He cited the example of Khajuraho and how some people would have objected even for that. He then gave the example of Raja Ravi Varma, who was charged with obscenity in depicting Indian women in his paintings.

The model-actor emphasized that thanks to social media, everybody hears each other’s voice loud and clear. He said that 20 years ago, there wasn’t as much noise because not everybody could hear people’s opinions.

Milind then spoke about his own case and his worries. The actor said that his major concern was – he didn’t want to end up doing something illegal.

Not one to shy away from showing off his physique, Milind was papped running n*de on his 55th birthday in 2020. He was booked for promoting obscenity once again, for the post.
