Mission Chapter One on OTT: The AL Vijay directorial, which released in January, stars Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan and Amy Jackson in the lead roles

Mission: Chapter 1 is a Tamil action drama which released in theatres in January for Pongal. Starring actors Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, the film is directed by director AL Vijay. While the film is streaming on Prime Video, Mission: Chapter 1 will also be available to watch on Aha Tamil. It will premiere on April 5, the streaming platform announced.
The AL Vijay directorial, which released in January, will be available for streaming on Aha Tamil from April 5. The film stars Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. Mission Chapter 1 is about a father and daughter who arrive to London for the latter’s surgery. However, as fate may have it, the father gets caught up in certain underworld activities. Amy Jackson plays a jailer, while Nimisha comes as a nurse treating the daughter.

The film marks Amy Jackson's third collaboration with the director after Madrasapattinam (2010) and Thaandavam (2012). GV Prakash, who has scored for most of AL Vijay's films, have composed for Mission: Chapter 1 as well. However, it is the first time for Nimisha and Arun Vijay to work with AL Vijay.
Backed by Lyca Productions, the film did not have a favourable theatrical response upon its release. This caused the film to take a long time to make its streaming debut. Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, Jason Shah are also part of the cast.
Mission Chapter 1 has story and screenplay by A Mahadev and is shot by cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay. The film, which is loaded with action sequences, is edited by Anthony and stunts by Stunt Silva. The film is also streaming on Prime Video. Additionally, those living outside India can also watch this film on Simply South.
