Mithun Chakraborty and Raj Chakraborty begin shooting of a family drama

Last month, while shooting Pathikrit Basu’s Shastri, Mithun Chakraborty had a brain stroke and was admitted to the hospital. However, he is fit now and started working again. After completing the shooting of Shastri, which is produced by Soham Chakraborty, he is now working on a film directed by Raj Chakraborty. It was long known that Mithun would be working with Raj in a film. Now the shooting has started. 

The first day of shooting was on Wednesday. Some exclusive moments of the shooting were caught on camera. At the start of the video, we see the set and Mithun’s vanity van. ‘Dada’ was written on it. 

Raj Chakraborty was in the director’s seat. There were cameras all over the set. Evidently, it talks about a Bose household as a nameplate bearing ‘Bose’ was in front of the house's main entrance. Other crews were making the set ready. 

Mithun then entered the set and Raj received him. Then Raj said, ‘Action,’ and Mithun gave the shot. Sohini Sengupta, Anashua Majumdar, and Soma Chakraborty were also present. The shooting took place in a house.

Raj Chakraborty said, “This is a family drama. This is SVF’s 165th production that we are shooting now. I am working with SVF after a long break. Mridul and Saswati made a wonderful set. Manas’ camera is fabulous. The lights are also great. Mithunda is elated after the first day of shooting. He praised Manas lavishly.” 

It is being speculated from the video that Anashua might play Mithun’s wife. Sohini Sengupta and Soma Chakraborty were seen in a scene, taking Anashua somewhere. Mithun Chakraborty was seen with a tray of food in his hand. However, neither Raj nor SVF revealed the film’s name. 

It was previously known that Ritwik Chakraborty might play Mithun’s son in the film. But it is not yet clear whether Ritwik will be in the film. On a side note, Mithun paired up with Debasree Roy after a long time in the film Shastri, produced by Soham Chakraborty. He got ill while shooting for the film. However, evidently, he is fit now, as was seen in Raj’s shooting.
