Mithun Chakraborty gets nostalgic as he appears on a reality show with Padmini Kohlapure

Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Sunny Deol have united for a film. Meanwhile, Mithun has also teamed up with Dev in Avijit Sen’s father-son saga, Projapoti. The veteran superstar will be working with Mamata Shankar after more than four decades since Mrinal Sen’s National Award-winning film, Mrigayaa. Now, Mithun walked down memory lane as he appeared on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2022 with his superhit heroine Padmini Kohlapure. The on-screen couple gave multiple box-office successes in the ’80s. 

In fact, Mithun talked about his initial days of struggle. He said that he was taunted for his complexion. He said, “I don’t want anyone to go through the struggle that I went through. I was taunted and harassed for the complexion of my skin colour. I was humiliated. There were days when I went to bed starving. I used to cry alone. There was a time I used to spend nights on the pavement.”

The actor also mentioned that he would not like his biopic to be made. Mithun said, “I don’t want any other person faces what I faced. My life will not influence anyone. However, it can be demoralising for some people. I don’t want this. I became a legend not because I gave multiple hits but because I hid my sufferings.”  

Mithun and Padmini attended the Disco-Special episode of Li’l Champs recently. The actor was last seen in The Kashmir Files. He will also take part in Zee Bangla’s Dance Bangla Dance. Mithun’s Projapoti will be released this Christmas.
