Post their stunt in the Bigg Boss 17 show, almost all the contestants seem to have found their place under the sun. Most prominent among them are Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, KhanZaadi, Anurag Dobhal and Munawar Faruqui. Speaking of Munawar Faruqui, yesterday all the roads led to Mumbra in Thane. The reason? That was the place for the first ever fan meet of Munawar Faruqui, which saw a legion of his fans attending. Besides the event making news for Munawar Faruqui and his magnanimous fans, the event also made news for not so good reasons as well.

Many fans lose their mobiles and valuables during the fan meet

As per a report in The Free Press Journal, it was during the concert when many of the attendees reported loss of their mobile phones. The miscreants seemed to have taken advantage of the huge crowds and must have resorted to stealing mobile phones and other valuables from the people who had come to visit the fan meet.

Many fans report theft at the nearest police station

The same report stated that the visitors had then gone to the nearest police station to file a complaint regarding the theft. On the other hand, Munawar Faruqui and the organisers are yet to lodge a formal complaint regarding the theft. The fans who had come to attend the mega event, also included the ones who had come from non-Mumbai areas as well, only to get a glimpse of their favourite star Munawar Faruqui.

The same news report also stated that, seeing the uncontrollable crowd, the police [personnel present there had to resort to lathi charge. And once the cops started doing lathi charge (although there was no report about anyone being hurt), the already maddening crowd went berserk, thus, adding to the already chaotic situation.

As for Munawar Faruqui, he will be soon with Hina Khan in the music video ‘Halki Halki Si’. The much-awaited teaser of the track will be released on February 20.
