Mr Nagabhushanam on OTT: All you need to know of Ram Nitin, Mounika Reddy’s show

Mr Nagabhushanam, headlined by two promising, budding Telugu actors Ram Nitin and Mounika Reddy, is gearing up for its OTT premiere. Pranith Bramandapally, who directed two feature films and as many web shows, is turning a producer with the project. His home banner is titled Kurukshetra Productions. Their first production will premiere on ETV Win tomorrow i.e. October 13.

The story

The protagonist Naga Bhushanam is a corporate professional who is reluctant about marriage owing to his enthusiasm for adventure travelling. Owing to COVID-19 lockdown, his parents persuade him to finally marry. Then, he bumps into his childhood friend Aadhira over a Zoom call. How does their relationship progress? Will they tie the knot? We’ll know more tomorrow.

The cast

The show has a formidable lineup, with a mix of young talent and experience. While Ram Nitin has previously acted in Hello World and MAD, Mounika Reddy was seen in Bheemla Nayak, Thank You Brother, Two Souls and Baby. Harshavardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Chinni Krishna, Shivani Mahi, Prem Sagar and Sreemani also essay important roles in the web series.

The trailer

The trailer begins with the lead couple smoking a cigarette after getting married. The scene later shifts to the boy’s house, where his father pesters him to marry soon and suggests a match. The situation is similar at girl’s household too, where the father is worried about his daughter’s marriage. Both the boy and girl meet, like one another but need to resolve a few issues before they tie the knot.

The crew and ETV Win’s future releases

The web show has Daniel Viswas and Satish Reddy Masam cranking the camera. PR is the music director and Vara is the editor. Ravi Shankar and Sai Maneendhar Reddy are the co-director and the sound designer respectively. ETV Win’s other releases in the coming weeks include 90s, starring Sivaji, Vasuki Anand and Krishna Rama, headlined by Rajendra Prasad, Gauthami and Ananya Sharma.
