In the upcoming suspense movie Gumraah, stars like Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur, and Ronit Roy play important roles. People have been divided over this dramatic pursuit between the police and the murderer ever since the movie's trailer was released. Fans are anxious to crack Gumraah's mystifying conundrum.

For the first time, Mrunal Thakur will play a police officer in this movie, which also debuts a brand-new subgenre called thriller. The performer has shown in a short amount of time that she isn't afraid to keep trying new things with her roles and the movies she chooses to do.

When asked why she decided to star in the movie, Mrunal stated that she wanted to investigate Gumraah since it was uncharted territory and something she had never done before. Her favourite genre is murder mysteries and thrillers, so when she was given the movie, she was immediately sold. The actor has had the good fortune to work on a variety of genres of movies, so she is happy to be a part of this one since it has a real excitement factor. Even if the movie's premise has been altered, our director Vardhan used a different approach; the way it was filmed and how it was handled are both entirely new. He is quite specific about his goals for his actor, his shots, and his vision for the project.

Inspector Shivani Mathur (Mrunal), whose job it is to look into the death of a man in Gumraah, finds two suspects (Aditya) who look alike but don't know each other. Shivani, however, finds additional information about the case that complicates matters for her.

Both Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Productions are producing the movie. Vardhan Ketkar, who has never made a movie before, is in charge of making it. Gumraah will open in theatres on April 7, 2023.
