Munawar Faruqui gets invited to Payal Rohatgi-Sangram Singh’s wedding, she says ‘I have no grudge against him’

Payal Rohatgi has sent across her wedding invite to Munawar Faruqui. The actress is getting married to her long-time boyfriend Sangram Singh on July 9 and the Lock Upp winner is invited to her big day(ish), wedding reception. Not just Munawar, Payal has even invited the show’s host Kangana Ranaut.

Payal spent three months with all the Lock Upp contestants and host Kangana. Thus, she sent an invite to all of them to attend her wedding reception in Mumbai.

Talking about sending an invite to her arch-rival on the show and otherwise, Payal said that she has ‘no grudges against’ Munawar but did have grievances with him because he tried to make fun of her God. The actress said that she wasn’t happy with Munawar trying to hurt her thought process. She explained that she had her differences with the ideology, not the human being.

Payal and Sangram would have a rather private and intimate wedding in Agra on July 9. Sangram has elaborate plans to give back to mother nature on his wedding day. Apart from that, he will host the Delhi reception on July 14.

The couple is finally tying the knot after being engaged for 12 years. Payal revealed that both her and Sangram’s families are happy seeing them together because they are pretty old and want to see their children happy.

On Lock Upp, Payal had an emotional meltdown when Sangram’s name was first dragged on the show. She explained that there were some reasons why they both could not get married since 12 years. She went on to reveal the reasons on the show too.

When every inmate pleaded with Sangram to marry Payal, the wrestler confirmed that he will get married to Payal in July. He had also shared that the two were planning a wedding since a long time but could not take the time out because of their commitments.

On Lock Upp, Payal was able to bond with very few people. Babita Phogat, Kaaranvir Bohra, Shivam Sharma and Azma Fallah were a few people she could bond with, at least for a brief period of time. Whether any of them appear at her wedding reception in Mumbai, is yet to be seen.
