Naagin 6: Tejasswi Prakash’s show to go off air in October? Here’s what we know

Naagin 6 slithered its way into viewers’ hearts right from the first day Ekta Kapoor’s show hit the silver screens. Fans seemed to have become entranced by Tejasswi Prakash’s portrayal of Pratha, the sesh naagin, and the show has consistently found itself the recipient of high TRPs. But in some disappointing news for fans, it was recently reported that the series will go off air sometime in October.

According to a report in India Forums, the makers are planning on introducing a time leap in the show. The storyline will reportedly involve Pratha getting married and having a child, and the series would revolve around the story of the new generation. Many of the major cast members of the show are also expected to exit the series as well. The report also states that the last episode of the series before it goes off air will premiere on October 7.

The series’ storyline at the moment follows Pratha in disguise as Kiara, mourning the loss of Rishabh. A promo for the upcoming episode suggests an epic showdown between the sesh naagin and the montruous Yeti. Pratha’s plan to take revenge on her sister Mahek was also teased.

In addition to Tejasswi, the series also features Simba Nagpal, Mahek Chahal, Manit Joura, Reema Worah, Bakul Thakkar, Urvashi Dholakia, Sudha Chandran and Abhishek Verma in prominent roles. The series is created and bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor under her production banner Balaji Telefilms.

Mouni Roy, Nia Sharma, Surbhi Jyoti, Adaa Khan, Arjun Bijlani, Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal have also been a part of the show in its previous seasons.

New episodes of Naagin 6 air every Saturday and Sunday. The show is available for streaming on Voot.
