Selvaraghavan and Dhanush have delivered some power-packed projects in the past. The makers of their upcoming project, Naane Varuven, have now released a new poster for the film.

On the director's birthday yesterday, Kalaippuli S Thanu, who is bankrolling the project, took to Twitter to share a special poster. The poster featuring both Dhanush and Selvaraghavan is intense and suspenseful.

The brothers can be seen behind what appears to be broken glass, and both of them have a fire in their eyes. While Dhanush sports only stubble, Selvaraghavan has a grey beard. The poster also wished the director a happy birthday.

Dhanush will reportedly play a dual role in the psychological thriller, playing both the protagonist and the antagonist. Indhuja Ravichander plays the female lead in the movie.

Helmed by Selvaraghavan, the duo has previously delivered three hits, Kadhal Konden, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna. Naane Varuven sees the much-awaited reunion of the actor-director duo after over a decade.

Reports in February also suggested that Dhanush is getting trained in archery under a popular Chennai-based trainer as one of the characters he plays in the film requires him to use a bow and arrow.

While Dhilip Subbarayan has been roped in to choreograph the action scenes, the movie has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. With Om Prakash handling the camera for the project, Bhuvana Sunder will be the editor.

Dhanush is currently also awaiting the release of Maaran, Karthick Naren’s action drama that is set to be released on Disney+ Hotstar.

On the other hand, Selvaraghavan is also working on Vijay’s highly-anticipated action thriller, Beast, directed by Nelson.
