In recent years, more actors and film technicians have joined OTT. Naga Chaitanya, like many other South Indian stars, namely Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, and others, is getting ready to jump on the bandwagon. According to reports in The Times of India, the actor will make his OTT debut with a web series helmed by Vikram K Kumar.
Kumar and Chay are now working on Kumar's film Thank You, but after that, the Manam duo is expected to embark on a web series. The yet-to-be-titled show would be a supernatural thriller starring Tamil actor Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Several additional well-known South Korean actors will also appear in the series.
The web series will reportedly launch in various languages early next year, with Chaitanya undergoing a makeover for his role in the series.
Talking about Thank You, the film also features Raashii Khanna and Avika Gor as the female leads. The film is produced by Dil Raju under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, and the release date is yet to be announced.
Chaitanya will be making his Hindi film debut with Laal Singh Chaddha featuring Aamir Khan in the titular role. In the film, the Telugu star will be seen playing the role of Bala, a soldier in an extended cameo appearance. Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is set to be a 2022 release.
Chay is set to reunite with his father and veteran star Nagarjuna Akkineni for the film Bangarraju in which the actor will be reprising his iconic role from Soggade Chinni Nayana released in 2016.
The first look of the film will be out on November 22, 2021, while the teaser will be unveiled the next day on November 23. Bangarraju is set to be a Sankranthi release in 2022.
