Naga Chaitanya's OTT debut to be helmed by Vikram Kumar?

2021 is a year of many firsts for Naga Chaitanya. While he is making his Hindi cinema debut with a special appearance in the Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha (for which he has been shooting in Ladakh recently), he has been in the news for his OTT project that's to be produced by Sharrath Marar under North Star Entertainments. Several speculations were doing the rounds about the director of the web show over a few weeks. Looks like we finally have clarity on that, going by a report on the movie portal Indiaglitz. 

Reportedly, Naga Chaitanya has been going through a lot of scripts recently and has finalised an idea suggested by Manam director Vikram Kumar. Incidentally, the actor is also working on a feature film with Vikram Kumar, titled Thank You, produced by Dil Raju. As per reports, the show will comprise eight episodes in total and have several riveting twists to keep the viewer hooked. 

Besides his current commitments, the actor has given his nod to a cop drama with Pelli Choopulu filmmaker Tharun Bhascker. The latter, through the lockdown in 2020, has worked extensively to get his research on the script right, going through several cases from the past and talking to former cops about their approach to nab the criminals. However, there's no clarity as to the commencement of the project yet.
