The promotional blitzkrieg leading up to the Sankranti 2022 release of Bangarraju is in full swing. Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna, Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna play the lead roles in the film written and directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala that's a prequel to the 2016 hit Soggade Chinni Nayana (that featured Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead). After launching Krithi Shetty's first look as Naga Lakshmi in the film, the character poster of Naga Chaitanya was unveiled today, a day ahead of his birthday (November 23).

"Presenting @chay_akkineni from #Bangarraju's world on his Birthday. వాసివాడి తస్సాదియ్యా.. గుండెల్లో గిత్తలు కుమ్ముతున్నట్టు లేదూ? (Vaasi Vaadi Tassadiyya, Gundello Githalu Kummuthunnattu Ledu?) Then, wait for the Massy Teaser Tomorrow @ 10.23 AM," the post from Annapurna Studios' social media handle read. Naga Chaitanya, donning shades, a colourful yellow shirt that's paired with a blue jeans, looks as lively and handsome as ever in his rural avatar for the film. The actor is seen throwing a cattle prod in the backdrop of a rural house in the poster.

The poster also announces that the film's teaser would release on Tuesday at 10.23 am. Bangarraju is produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni himself under Annapurna Studios in collaboration with Zee Studios. Veteran writer Satyanand has penned the screenplay for the project. Anup Rubens has scored the music, while Yuvaraj has cranked the camera. Brahma Kadali has been roped in as the art director. Chalapathi Rao, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore and Jhansi essay supporting roles. The makers had already released a song from the film titled Laddunda, that has garnered over 5.5 million hits on YouTube.
