Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar's case is not hidden from anyone. To jog your memory, in 2018, actor Tanushree made allegations of sexual harassment against veteran actor Nana Patekar. It was during the MeToo Movement. Now, after years, the topic is once again being discussed as Nana was asked about the same in a recent interview.
In an interview with Lallantop, Nana Patekar spoke about the time when he was under the scanner for allegations of misbehaving with Dutta during the shoot of a song for the film Horn Ok Pleassss. The actor has now said that he never got angry about the incident as he knew from the beginning that her allegations were false.
Nana Patekar said, "I knew that it was all a lie. That's why I didn't get angry. When everything was a lie, why should I be angry?"
"And all those things are old. They have happened. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth. What could I say at that time when nothing like this happened? Suddenly, someone says that you did this, you did that. What would I have answered to all these things? Should I have said that I didn't do this? I know the truth that I didn't do anything," he further added.
In 2018, during the shoot of a song in Horn Ok Pleassss, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar, director Vivek Agnihotri, and choreographer Ganesh Acharya of misbehaving with her. She filed a complaint against the same. The actress, in her statement, stated that Patekar had 'tried to sexually abuse' her. She also mentioned that the song was to be shot on a single actor but Nana used to be present on the day of shooting.
