Nani to launch the trailer of Zee5’s Telugu show ‘Lol Salaam’ tomorrow

Five friends en route a trip, get caught in an unexpected situation when their car breaks down and one of the friends unwittingly steps on a landmine. They lose their way, make a mess of themselves and yet try to have fun amidst the chaos. If one has to go by the promos of Zee5's next Telugu show, Lol Salaam, viewers are in for a wacky, funny ride. The show starring many newcomers including Pavan Kumar Alluri, Aishwarya Bala, Gayathri Dolly, Kivish Kautilya, Praveena Laxmi, Harshavardhan and Darahas Maturu, is all set to release on the OTT platform on June 25.

The trailer of this bachelor-comedy will be launched by actor Nani across his social media handles tomorrow at 4 pm. One of the main advantages of a show made with a minimal budget, featuring a non-descript cast is that the story would take precedence and it would release amidst low expectations. However, the streaming platform's recent track record states otherwise. Zee5 Telugu hasn't had a great run in Telugu originals in 2021 with the likes of Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku, Room No. 54 biting the dust, being slammed by audiences and critics alike.

Zee5 Telugu has been in the news for its high-profile feature film acquisitions too. It hasn't only bagged the much-awaited streaming rights of RRR across multiple languages but is in talks with the makers of Nagesh Kukunoor's Good Luck Sakhi for a direct-to-OTT release as well. One of the better Telugu films to have released in 2021, Rang De, featuring Nithiin, Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles is also set to stream on the platform from June 11.
